Powell, like Elizabeth Warren and other progressives, dangerously believes that the Fed should go вЂњwoke.вЂќ However, Powell is still not вЂњwokeвЂќ enough for progressives who lobbied President Joe Biden to replace Powell with Fed board member Lael Brainard, the biggest supporter of Elizabeth Warren-style regulations on the Fed board. However, even if the Fed follows through on this, interest rates will remain at historically low levels. Powell also stated that the Fed is planning to increase interest rates this year. This has caused prices to climb at a rate America has not seen in several decades.ДЄt his nomination hearing before the Senate Banking Committee, Powell reiterated the FedвЂ™s intention to fight inflation by reducing its monthly 120 billion dollars purchase of Treasury and mortgage-backed securities. The FedвЂ™s balance sheet has grown to over eight trillion dollars. Under his tenure, the Fed has kept interest rates at or near zero. Powell is a threat to the American people.

The truth is most regulations benefit large corporations by imposing costs that big businesses can easily absorb, but that their smaller competitors cannot.

Senator Warren, like most progressives, clings to a fantastical notion that regulations benefit workers, consumers, and small businesses. Warren thinks Powell is dangerous because she thinks he will not be supportive enough of imposing her desired new regulations on banks and other financial institutions. I donвЂ™t often agree with Senator Warren, but I do agree with her assessment that Powell is вЂњdangerous.вЂќ However, Warren actually doesnвЂ™t understand what makes Powell, or any Fed chairman, intrinsically dangerous to liberty and prosperity. One of the senators opposing Powell is Elizabeth Warren. Poor selection of scientists, low investment by the director in digging into the topics nor presenting the information, and lazy scientists who didn't put any effort into asking interesting questions or really digging into what they are looking at.The US Senate will soon vote on Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome PowellвЂ™s nomination to a second term. It didn't get much better from there, almost every other experiment and research topic was presented for about 1% of the movie, while the other 99% is them walking, driving, giving platitudes about science while staring into the horizon, making a fire while camping, etc, etc.

Neither the male physicist or the female microbiologist seemed interested in anything but glossing over the subject and quickly moving on. At least show a graphic of the galaxies floating in seemingly nothingness and explain, even for a moment, what prior experiments have shown that makes it clear there's a missing piece of the puzzle - and the connecting matter in between the galaxies and solar systems may provide that answer. But almost from the beginning there was warning signs when the first Italian scientist who studiest dark matter via detecting neutrinos under the earth hardly explains what dark matter is, why we think it exists, why it's important to figure out, even why it's underground beyond a few vague sentences. 9 different scientists explaining the biggest challenges in their field to a scientst from another field, in a sort of chain. I absolutely loved the idea of this film.
